Method
- Lightly grease or line a 9×13 inch pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add about 10 oz of marshmallows and stir gently until fully melted and smooth. Keep heat low.
- Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Add cereal and mix gently until coated.
- Fold in remaining marshmallows for extra gooey texture.
- Transfer mixture to prepared pan and gently press into place without compacting.
- Let cool at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes before cutting.
