Ingredients
  

Raw Honey
  • Always use raw unfiltered honey. It keeps all the natural enzymes and antifungal compounds that processed honey loses.
Turmeric and Ginger
  • Fresh turmeric root is ideal but organic ground turmeric also works. Choose turmeric with a rich golden color and a strong scent. For ginger, use fresh root or high-quality ground ginger.
Black Pepper
  • Do not skip this. Black pepper helps your body absorb the curcumin in turmeric thanks to a compound called piperine.

Method
 

  1. Warm one cup of filtered water (hot but not boiling)
  2. Add one teaspoon of turmeric (or one inch of fresh root)
  3. Add ½ teaspoon of fresh grated ginger or ¼ teaspoon of ground ginger
  4. Stir in one tablespoon of raw honey
  5. Add a pinch of black pepper
  6. Optional: mix in ½ teaspoon of coconut oil or MCT oil
  7. Stir until fully blended
  8. Let the drink cool slightly before sipping
