Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 5 organic green tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger finely grated or minced
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons honey or to taste
  • 2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves orange slices, or lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Heat the water until it reaches a gentle simmer. Remove it from the heat before it begins to boil.
  2. Add the green tea bags and grated ginger. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and strain the tea into a large pitcher.
  4. Stir in the honey while the tea is still warm until fully dissolved.
  5. Add the freshly squeezed orange juice and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
  6. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
  7. Fill serving glasses with fresh ice and pour in the chilled tea.
  8. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, orange slices, or lemon slices before serving.
Notes
  1. Freshly squeezed citrus juice provides the brightest and freshest flavor.
  2. Avoid boiling the water, as excessive heat can make green tea bitter.
  3. Adjust the amount of honey to suit your preferred sweetness.
  4. Refrigerate leftovers in a covered pitcher for up to 3 days.
  5. Stir the tea before serving if it has been stored, as the citrus juice may naturally settle.
