Ingredients
  

Core Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef 85/15
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 14.5 oz canned diced tomatoes undrained
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 16 oz frozen mixed vegetables peas, carrots, corn, green beans

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground beef, onion, salt, and pepper. Brown for 6–8 minutes.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, broth, diced tomatoes, and seasoning.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.
  • Add frozen vegetables. Simmer 15 more minutes until tender.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot with bread or rolls.
