Green Tea with Honey

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water 240 ml
  • 1 green tea bag or 1 tsp loose green tea
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons honey adjust to taste, preferably raw honey

Method
 

  1. Heat the Water
  2. Pour 1 cup of water into a microwave-safe mug or small saucepan. Heat until hot but not boiling.
  3. Steep the Tea
  4. Add the green tea bag to the hot water. Let it steep for about 3 minutes. Avoid steeping too long, as this can make the tea taste bitter.
  5. Add the Honey
  6. Remove the tea bag. Stir in 2 to 3 teaspoons of honey until fully dissolved. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed.
  7. Serve and Enjoy
  8. Drink your green tea with honey warm, or let it cool and refrigerate it to serve over ice.
