Ingredients
  

  • Ice cubed or crushed
  • 1 mint leaf plus extra for garnish
  • 7.5 oz soda 7UP, A&W Root Beer, or Sunkist
  • ½ oz grenadine syrup
  • 2 lime wedges cut from fresh lime
  • Garnish: mint sprig lime wedge, maraschino cherry

Method
 

  1. Fill a glass halfway to three-quarters with ice.
  2. Rub a mint leaf around the rim for aroma.
  3. Pour in your soda of choice slowly to keep the fizz.
  4. Add grenadine syrup and juice from 2 lime wedges.
  5. Stir gently to mix.
  6. Garnish with a mint sprig, a lime wedge, and a maraschino cherry.
