Ingredients

Equipment
  • 9 inch tart pan with removable bottom
  • Mixing bowls
  • Hand mixer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Rubber spatula
  • Offset spatula
  • Cooling rack
  • Serving platter
Ingredients
For the Brownie Crust
  • 1 box brownie mix
  • Ingredients required for the brownie mix egg, butter or oil, and water
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Fruit Topping
  • cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
Optional toppings:
  • Blackberries
  • Kiwi slices
  • Peach slices
  • Mandarin oranges
  • Mango slices
  • Fresh mint leaves

Method

Step 1
  1. Preheat the oven according to the brownie mix directions. Prepare the brownie batter by combining the wet ingredients with the brownie mix until smooth.
Step 2
  1. Spread the batter evenly into a greased 9 inch tart pan or round cake pan.
Step 3
  1. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges begin pulling away from the pan.
Step 4
  1. Allow the brownie to cool completely before removing it from the pan.
Step 5
  1. Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
Step 6
  1. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled brownie.
Step 7
  1. Arrange the strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and any additional fruit over the frosting.
Step 8
  1. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.
Notes
  1. A slightly cakey brownie works better than an extra fudgy brownie because it supports the toppings more easily.
  2. Dry all fruit thoroughly before decorating to prevent excess moisture.
  3. Assemble the dessert a few hours before serving for the freshest presentation.
  4. Chill before slicing for clean, neat servings.
  5. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
