Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 –2 tablespoons dried butterfly pea flowers
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar with mother
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon honey or a few slices fresh ginger

Method
 

  1. Boil the water in a saucepan. If using ginger, add it while boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and add butterfly pea flowers. Let steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the liquid if you prefer a clear drink.
  4. Add lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. Stir well.
  5. Optional: add honey for sweetness.
  6. Serve warm or pour over ice for a cold version.
