Method
Prepare:
- Heat the air fryer to 390°F / 200°C. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create two thin halves from each breast. Brush each side lightly with olive oil.
Bread:
- Stir the breading ingredients together. Dredge the chicken breast halves in the breading multiple times until they are thoroughly coated.
Cook:
- Shake off any excess breading and place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer. You should be able to fit about two chicken breast halves at a time. Cook for 4 minutes.
Flip:
- Flip the chicken and then cook for an additional two minutes. The exact cooking time will depend on the thickness of your chicken, so you can either check with a digital thermometer to ensure it has reached 165°F or cut one piece in half to check for doneness.
